About

Hi, I’m Daniel Bontrager. I’ve been in piano service industry for a few years now, and have developed considerable skill in the craft.

In 2020, I started taking one-on-one lessons from Larry Merriman, an experienced and well-respected technician in Fort Wayne. He taught me aural tuning (tuning the piano by ear) and other servicing basics.

Since 2022, I’ve been working full time for a piano restoration and rebuilding shop in Elkhart, receiving more training from internationally-recognized technician Paul Rea. Working in a restoration shop has enabled me to quickly gain substantial skill and experience in many different areas.

Currently, in-home service is a side job while I work full time in the shop. I strive to do honest, quality work, honoring the Lord in everything I do.

I do business in Elkhart County and all counties that border it.
